Towards a Reference Architecture for Cargo Ports

چکیده

Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) are physical systems whose operations coordinated, monitored, and controlled by computing communication functions. These typically heterogeneous, including Internet of Things information technology subsystems, can present a myriad implementation details, making them very complex systems. An important type CPS is maritime container terminal (cargo port), which facility where cargo containers transported between ships land vehicles for onward transportation vice versa. A port performs four basic functions: receiving, storing, staging, loading both import export containers. We here process patterns that describe the functional aspects ports pattern describes their structural properties (patterns encapsulated solutions to recurrent problems). semantic found in any be adapted other CPSs. decompose these into use cases interactions with system. then integrate assemble partial reference architecture (RA) shows all while also indicating typical stakeholders ports. validate proposed architecture, highlighting its theoretical practical value. Software system designers need start from conceptual abstract view subsequently refined add more details. The architectures an effective way organize non-functional system, as well unify design aspects. This is, until now, only published RA ports, it useful guideline port.

Towards a Reference Architecture for Enterprise Mashups

Mashup applications combine pieces of functionality from several existing websites to provide new integrated functionality. Existing mashup tools typically address only some aspects of the problem and use a variety of sometimes overlapping and sometimes complementary approaches that make it difficult to compare them. In this ‘work in progress’ paper, we present a first draft of one reference ar...

Towards a Reference Architecture for Open Hypermedia

The OHS Working Group formed out of the 2nd Workshop on Open Hypermedia Systems at Hypertext '96 in Washington, DC (March 1996). The initial goals of the OHS Working Group were to define open hypermedia systems and to define open link services. The OHS Working Group meeting in Southampton, England (December 1996) showed that it is difficult to discuss scenarios and especially protocols [Davis e...

Towards a Big Data Reference Architecture

Technologies and promises connected to ‘big data’ got a lot of attention lately. Leveraging emerging ‘big data’ sources extends requirements of traditional data management due to the large volume, velocity, variety and veracity of this data. At the same time, it promises to extract value from previously largely unused sources and to use insights from this data to gain a competitive advantage. T...

Towards a Common Reference Architecture for Aspect-Oriented Modeling

Aspect-orientation provides a new way of modularization by clearly separating crosscutting concerns from non-crosscutting ones. Although originally emerged at the programming level, aspect-orientation meanwhile stretches also over other development phases. Not only due to the rise of model-driven engineering, some approaches already exist for dealing with aspect-orientation at the modeling leve...
